Let’s simplify the complexities of financial reporting management.

Are you frustrated by the amount of time spent producing reports such as Board Books, Monthly Management Reports, and Regulatory Reports? These may end up as PowerPoint slides, Excel files, Word or PDF documents – or a combination.

Producing these reports is often a collaborative process involving many data sources. The data sources may be housed in different systems, including Excel, Planning Analytics, consolidation systems, databases, ERP systems, and more. Typically, much time and effort are spent checking/validating data and ensuring consistency between words, graphs and numbers. The process is stressful and slow.

If your organization has encountered any of these challenges, there is an application called CDM (Certent Disclosure Management) that could help make your life easier. CDM can be implemented quickly, while dramatically reducing the time, errors and stress levels related to the collaborative reporting processes. You may even already own this app, without being fully aware of what it can do!

Drill-Through Functionality in Dashboards

The Dashboard tool in Cognos Analytics 11.0.12 now has the capability of drilling-through to reports, enabling integration between dashboards and reports, and thus access to more detailed information from high-level dashboards.
